Ahh, the sweet time in paradise...ok, anyone who has been to Jamaica knows that may be a little misleading. Land is beautiful but filled with poverty. One of those...been there, loved to look at it, but have no interest in going back. Maybe a little critical, but there it is. Little known fact: if you buy "wacky tobacky" from locals, be prepared for a strip search on the way back to the ship as the locals will sell you picture to the police...heard some graphic details going into dinner that night from a very large man that will haunt me for a long time. I don't need to get those visions in my head.

The cruise overall was tremendous and we are already planning our next one. 10 year anniversary is right around the corner, but we have to let the grandparents recover before we spring that on them. Good to be back with the kids, but we'll talk about them on another post. On to more pictures...

This was us prior to getting "too" much sun. The glare is coming from the very German boy...

Here's a photo of our friends, Joella and Phil. Celebrating their 20th anniversary.

We'll I'm new at this, so I'll end with a real reason why we will be going back as soon as God permits.

Rough eh? You're a couple of real "survivors" now! Cruising is tough business. All the bikinis; food; drinks; scenery; social functions; the little chocolates on your pillow; towels folded into swans. I'm glad to hear you had an enjoyable time. I for one am going again this Christmas, back to Barbados or St. Martin probably. We're thinking of skipping the ship thing and staying in a resort instead. Decisions, decisions.
